Inflict Sports is proud to announce that NFL’s Atlanta Falcons football team is using Inflict’s MMA gloves in their special training session under the Director of Athletic Performance, Jeff Fish. The program, founded by Jay Glazer and Randy Couture, is designed to improve an athlete’s explosiveness, flexibility, strength and endurance. UFC veteran, Frank Trigg, was chosen as the head instructor for this year’s session. In the past, several players such as Jared Allen (of the Vikings), Matt Leinart (of the Cardinals), and Patrick Willis (of the 49ers), have accredited MMA training for their improved performance on the field.

Inflict Sports Inflict Sports is holding a Pick ‘em contest for the April 23rd Tuff-N-Uff Event in Las Vegas, NV. The contest is open to anyone who is a fan of our Inflict Sports Facebook page.
The rules are simple. Just rsvp this contest and then send us a message (via the Facebook comment box) with your list of fighters you think will win from the list below. If you do not want people to see your picks you can email them to info@inflictsports.com. Make sure not to leave out any fights or to accidentally list both opponents because that will disqualify your entry. For your convenience, you can just list the number that is next to the fighter (For example: Jimmy Jones is number 23). You will also need to include an answer for the tie breaker question. If there is still a tie after the tie breaker, then the wiiner will be determined by the earliest received entry. Any fights that are canceled, or have opponents changed, will be voided from the contest and will not count. Winner will be announced on April 26th. Winner is responsible for contacting us with a valid name and mailing address so that we can send the prize.

Here is an example of how your entry should look (but, of course, with your own choices)
2, 3, 5, 7,10,11,14,15,17,20,21,23,25,27 Tie breaker 5

Fights (in no particular order)
1.Christy Tada vs 2.Jessica Sorrenson
3.Ashley Cummins vs 4.Cathy Snell
5.Nick Thompson vs 6.John Gettle
7.Larry Mir vs 8.Chris Barden
9.Tinei Sua vs 10.Chris Simmons
11.Colt Bowler vs 12.Junior Gomez
13.Keith Tubin vs 14.Joel Black
15.Garrett Kailpo Roan vs 16.Milo Garcia
17.Scott Kelsey vs 18.Kyle Neal
19.James Lanham vs 20.Chris Gomez
21.John Hahn vs 22.Paul Blancaflor
23.Jimmy Jones vs 24.Diego Melendez
25.Ernie Rivera vs 26.Carlos Caliso
27.Johnny Parsons vs 28.Jermaine Thompson

Tie breaker question: What will be the total combined number of knockouts and TKOs in this event?

Remember, anyone could win. You could take a wild guess and probably still stand a good chance of winning. Take a crack at it and have fun! If you want to know more about the fighters, you can check out their stats by visiting http://www.tuffnuff.net

Las Vegas, NV – March 26, 2010: It was a busy night of shaking hands, snapping photos, and talking shop at the Inflict Sports booth at the TUFF-N-NUFF Future Stars of MMA event at The Orleans Hotel and Casino. UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture stopped briefly to say hello and to shake hands with Inflict Sports founder Quinton Stephenson while UFC veteran Frank Trigg took the time to visit and to have his photo taken with fans. Inflict-sponsored fighter Ryan Couture dropped by both before and after his controversial fight with Sean Bollinger, doing interviews, signing autographs, and having his picture taken with fans. By the way, Ryan looked almost as fresh after the fight as he did before the bout! Fellow Inflict fighter Jimmy Jones and UFC fighter John Hendricks also spent some time hanging at the booth as did Ron Frasier, the boxing/striking coach at Xtreme Couture.

Gary Alexander, publisher of Fighters Only Magazine, came by after the fight to pick up some shirts and to opine on the events of the night. He is a great guy and his knowledge of the sport and of the participants is amazing.
